The Capital Building

Not a trading floor — a purpose-built facility designed around one principle: the machine trades, the human governs. Agents run first. Humans enter when scale demands oversight the machine cannot provide.

COMMAND WALL
6-panel video wall. Aggregate equity curves across all 20 desks. Gate status lights per desk. Total AUM. Daily P&L. Cross-desk correlation alerts.
RISK STATION
Head of Risk sits here — independent from desk leads. Monitors aggregate exposure. Can freeze any desk instantly. Cross-desk correlation is the primary danger.
DIRECTOR'S STATION
Director of Capital & Treasury. Capital allocation decisions. New desk approvals. The only person who can override the Head of Risk — and only in writing, with a logged justification.

FLOOR 3
The Human Wing
The machine does not need this floor. The people do
OPEN
PERFORMANCE PSYCHOLOGY SUITE
Two private consultation rooms. Soundproofed. No cameras. Weekly check-ins for active operators, post-incident for anyone involved in a gate fire. Independent reporting line — HR, not Capital.
The operator who watched Gate 1 fire and the machine stop itself needs to process that. This room exists because the hardest part of watching a machine trade your capital is the watching.
THE LOUNGE
No screens. Zero. Comfortable seating. Physical trade journals. Coffee station. Natural light. Post-shift operators come here first before they leave the building.
WELLNESS ROOM
Prayer/meditation space. Non-denominational. Available 24/7. Sometimes the only thing an operator needs at 3AM on skeleton shift is five minutes of silence.
TEAM KITCHEN
Full kitchen. Shared meals build the culture that shared screens cannot. The 13:00–14:00 handover window is also a meal.
FITNESS CORNER
Compact but equipped. Basic weights, stretch area. Standing desks are standard on the trading hall — but this is the dedicated space.
GARDEN / TERRACE
Outdoor space. Natural air, natural light. Designed so operators can step outside without leaving the security perimeter.

THE INDEPENDENCE RULE — PERFORMANCE PSYCHOLOGY
The Performance Psychologist does not report to the Director of Capital on individual operator state. The Psychologist can pull any operator off the desk — and no Desk Lead, Zone Lead, or Director can override that decision. This is the flight-surgeon model: the person responsible for your mind cannot be the person responsible for your P&L. The Director sees aggregate wellness metrics but never individual session content. The operators must trust that what they say in the room stays in the room — or the room is useless.

Reporting line: Performance Psychologist → Komir Holdings HR (not Capital & Treasury). Authority: fitness-for-duty rulings are final for 24 hours. Appeal goes to HR, not the trading desk.

BASEMENT
Infrastructure & Continuity
The part nobody sees that keeps everything alive
RESTRICTED
PRIMARY SERVER ROOM
Rack-mounted VPS infrastructure for all 20 desks. Climate controlled (18°C constant). Redundant networking — dual ISP with automatic failover. Biometric + keycard access.
POWER & BATTERY ROOM
Lithium-grade battery bank (data-centre specification) — minimum 72-hour autonomous capacity at full building load. Automatic switchover < 10ms from solar feed. No diesel. No national grid dependency.
NETWORK OPERATIONS
Dedicated fibre links to primary brokers. Latency monitoring. VPN tunnels to cloud trading floor (redundancy). If the building loses connectivity, cloud instances continue independently.
SOLAR & ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Central inverter array and energy management system. Real-time dashboard on the Bridge. Designed to Tier IV data centre standards — fault-tolerant, no single point of failure.
BACKUP & DR
Offsite backup to Komir cloud infrastructure (encrypted, daily). If the building is unusable, all desks fail over to cloud instances within 15 minutes. The building is the preferred mode, not the only mode.

DEPLOYMENT SEQUENCE — AGENTS FIRST, HUMANS WHEN SCALE DEMANDS
PHASE 1 — NOW
Solo Operator + EA
The founder runs the engine personally. One account, one chart set, full manual oversight. The canary. This is where the edge is proven and the EA earns trust.
PHASE 2 — CLOUD FLOOR
Agentic Operation
Multiple accounts on cloud VPS. The EA runs 24/7 without a human in the loop. Monitoring is automated — push notifications on gate fires, daily P&L summaries, anomaly alerts.
PHASE 3 — FIRST DESKS
First Human Operators
Capital under management crosses the threshold where a human in the loop reduces risk better than automation alone. First 3–5 desks activated. Performance Psychologist engaged.
PHASE 4 — THE BUILDING
Purpose-Built Facility
20 desks. 60+ operators. Full infrastructure. This happens when capital under management, client count, and regulatory requirements demand a permanent, secure, institutional-grade facility.
DESIGN STANDARDS — BUILT FOR A DECADE
SECURITY
Biometric access on every internal door. CCTV with 90-day retention on all common areas (never inside the Psychology Suite). No personal devices past reception. Visitor escort policy — no exceptions.
CONNECTIVITY
Dual ISP with automatic failover (< 50ms switchover). Dedicated fibre to primary brokers. Internal network segmented — trading VLAN isolated from corporate. 4G/5G backup on a third carrier.
POWER — FULLY SOLAR
Campus solar farm as primary generation. Lithium-grade battery bank providing minimum 72-hour autonomy at full load. No diesel generators. No national grid dependency. The building generates and stores its own power — permanently.
HUMAN FACTORS
Natural light on the trading hall and human wing. Acoustic treatment between zones. Ergonomic seating rated for 8-hour use. Air quality monitoring. Temperature 22–24°C constant on the trading floor.
SCALABILITY
Modular desk infrastructure — power, data, and display pre-wired to 30 positions. Cable management designed for desk addition without floor disruption. Server room sized for 2x current rack requirements.
CONTINUITY
The building is the preferred mode, not the only mode. Every desk has a cloud mirror. If the building is evacuated, all desks fail over to cloud VPS within 15 minutes. Annual DR drill.
